1962 - a star is born
Havaianas was created in Brazil in 1962 with inspiration from the Japanese Zori sandal.

1964 - the Kombi
By 1964, traveling salesmen would sell havaianas from their Volkswagen Kombi vans.

In 1966, we registered the patent - inventing the rubber flip flop!

In 1969, we only had one color-blocked option, but after an happy mistake made a batch of green ones, the Top was created in a range of colors!
